Introduction
Your trust is of utmost importance to us.
We fully understand the significance of your personal information. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we collect your personal data only within a reasonable and necessary scope. We make every effort to implement appropriate security protection measures — both technical and organizational — to prevent your personal information from being leaked, damaged, or lost. In light of this, the service provider of the ROBAM AI (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “us”) has formulated this Privacy Policy, and kindly reminds you to read it carefully.
This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services provided by the ROBAM AI. ROBAM AI products include, but are not limited to, the ROKI official WeChat account, ROKI small programs, and other related services. However, this Policy does not apply to services provided by third parties. For example, if you are redirected to a third-party website, application, or service via the ROBAM AI, any personal information you provide to that third party will be governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
Before using any products or services of ROBAM AI, please read and fully understand this Privacy Policy carefully, especially the terms highlighted in bold or underlined, which you should pay particular attention to. You may proceed to use our services only after you fully understand and agree to this Policy.

1. Our Role
We are the data controller of your information. This means that we have the authority to determine how your personal data is processed and for what purposes. We understand that you care about how your data is used and shared. We value your trust and will handle your data with caution and responsibility.
2. What Information We Collect from you
We collect your information based on the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity. When providing you with specific services, we will clearly inform you of the information being collected and the purpose for which it will be used, in order to respond to your specific service request.
Depending on the services you choose, we may collect one or more of the following types of information in the scenarios described below:
2.1 When you log in for the first time, you will need to provide your mobile phone number or email address to register your account and set a password. These registration methods are entirely your choice. However, if you choose not to provide the required information, the ROBAM AI platform will be unable to create your account or provide its services.
2.2 After sucessful registration, you may optionally fill in additional personal details in your profile, such as nickname, gender, avatar, and email address. Providing this information will help us deliver a better user experience, but it is not mandatory.
2.3 When you leave a message or post a comment on the ROBAM AI Platform, we collect your nickname, avatar, and the content of your message or comment. Your content is stored on our servers. Your ROBAM AI account nickname may be displayed to other users. Please be aware that information you post publicly may contain personal information about you or others—including sensitive personal information—if you upload images or other media. Please carefully evaluate whether you wish to share such information when using our services.
2.4 When an IoT device first connects to the network or when the network environment changes, you may need to perform a device onboarding (Wi-Fi configuration) process. To correctly scan for available Wi-Fi networks, the App may request access to your mobile device’s location permission to obtain Wi-Fi lists. During onboarding, the Wi-Fi SSID and password you enter are used to configure the device. Wi-Fi passwords are considered sensitive information. They are stored locally on the device only and are not uploaded to our cloud servers. The ROBAM AI Platform does not collect Wi-Fi passwords. For your convenience in future device onboarding, the App may store the Wi-Fi password locally in encrypted form so it can be auto-filled next time.
2.5 When you use ROBAM AI smart connectivity services, connected IoT devices may report data linked to your account—such as device usage duration, device online/offline status, ingredient consumption data, or other operational metrics. We collect this data to allow you to view device status, readings, and historical statistics.
2.6 While you use our products and services, to identify abnormal account or device states, improve compatibility, provide App or firmware updates, and optimize service quality, we may collect and store network log information and usage data. This may include device hardware model, IMEI or other unique identifiers, Android ID, MAC address, IP address, operating system version, registration date, and device settings used to access the service. To enhance intelligent features, we may also collect IoT device usage data such as device model, operating status, usage frequency, battery level, ambient temperature, and humidity. Some devices may include cameras or voice features. When you use such features, we may collect session logs, audio, video, or image data arising from your interaction with the device.
2.7 When you activate or wake a voice-enabled device, we automatically receive and may record the audio (and in some cases video) generated during your interaction, for the purpose of improving recognition accuracy and service response. Voice data is collected only when the wake word or activation trigger is engaged. If you do not want such information collected, please disable voice collection in the device settings or do not activate the device; however, related services will then be unavailable.
2.8 When you enable device or App location features and use location-based services, we may collect your location information so that you do not need to manually enter your location to receive relevant services. We may use IP address, GPS, and other sensors (including nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points, and cell tower data) to determine location. You can disable location access through your system settings. Doing so will stop our collection of location information but may prevent you from using related features or reduce service quality. Note: Location information is collected to provide environmental services and to simplify device onboarding; we do not track your movement history.
2.9 To help us understand how the ROBAM AI Platform performs, we may log usage frequency, crash data, overall engagement, and performance metrics. These analytics are not linked to directly identifiable personal information.
2.10 To provide you with more convenient, relevant, and personalized information, search results, and push notifications, we may analyze your plugin usage, service log information, and preference patterns. We generate user segments based on these signals and may deliver system messages, in-app promotions, or commercial advertising within ROBAM AI. You can disable personalized push notifications in Settings.
2.11 Device information and service log data alone cannot identify a specific individual. If we combine such non-personal data with other data that can identify an individual, or otherwise associate it with personal information, we will treat the combined data as personal information for as long as the combination persists. Unless we obtain your authorization or as required by law, we will anonymize or de-identify such information before further use.
2.12 In certain services, we may work with third-party service providers and obtain personal information about you from them—for example, when you bind a third-party account. With your authorization, we may obtain your third-party account nickname and avatar for display in ROBAM AI; a list of devices you have added in the third-party application so those devices can be shown in the ROBAM AI App; and device/network identifiers (such as device ID, MAC address, or serial number) to recognize devices and ensure secure control. If the processing we intend to perform exceeds the scope of the authorization you originally granted the third party, we will obtain your explicit consent before proceeding. We require third-party providers to ensure the legality of the information they supply and we will comply with applicable laws.
2.13 You may choose to manually add products from certain third-party ecosystem partners. When you use such functions, those third parties may also collect information about you. We strongly recommend that you review the third party’s user agreement and privacy policy before use. We are not responsible for how third parties collect or use your personal information. You may view the privacy terms of ecosystem products and revoke authorizations via the corresponding third-party plugin interfaces in the App.
2.14 To help us diagnose and resolve issues with the App, we may collect the following when you submit feedback: contact details, problem description, and optional screenshots, images, or videos illustrating the issue. Collecting this information allows us to analyze and locate problems, contact you for additional details, and track resolution progress. If you do not provide this information, we may be unable to effectively resolve your issue.
2.15 We may collect additional information that you voluntarily provide—for example, responses to questionnaires, participation in user experience programs, or information you share when communicating with us.
2.16 The ROBAM AI App may request certain Android device permissions. The table below outlines the permission, related feature, purpose of use, whether we prompt for permission, and whether you can disable it.

2.17 To enhance the security of ROBAM AI services; protect the personal and property safety of you, other users, and the public; and prevent phishing, fraud, security vulnerabilities, malware, cyberattacks, and intrusions, we may use or combine your account information, device interaction data, network logs, and information (with your authorization or as permitted by law) to assess account and transaction risks, verify identity, monitor and prevent security incidents, and take necessary logging, auditing, analysis, or remediation measures in accordance with the law.
2.18 If the information you provide contains personal information about other individuals, you must ensure that you have obtained their lawful authorization before providing it to us. If we use the information for purposes not described in this Policy, or use information collected for a specific purpose in a different context, or proactively obtain your personal information from a third party, we will obtain your consent in advance.
2.19 You fully understand and agree that under the following circumstances we may collect, use, share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information without obtaining your authorization or consent, and we may not respond to requests to correct, delete, deactivate, withdraw consent, or access such information:
2.19.1 Related to national security or national defense.
2.19.2 Related to public safety, public health, or major public interests.

Optional special health data may include life-stage or medical history indicators (e.g., pregnancy, breastfeeding, chronic conditions, allergies, constipation, anemia, hypertension, diabetes). These data are used to recommend personalized nutrition or meal plans. If you choose not to provide them, recommendations may be less accurate.
2.20.1 To improve the accuracy of dietary recommendations, we offer the option to sync certain personal data—such as calorie data, body fat ratio, stress data, weight, and sleep data—from the Huawei Health service. After you authorize specific data types in HUAWEI Health Kit, we will synchronize that data to display within the ROBAM AI App and generate tailored nutrition guidance.
2.20.2 To help you better understand your activity and wellness, we can sync step counts and calorie data from Huawei Health. After you authorize specific data types in HUAWEI Health Kit, we will sync the data into the ROBAM AI App. If you do not wish to sync this data, you may disable the connection in the App under: Smart > Nutrition Plan > Me > Huawei Health Data.
2.21 When you participate in lotteries, contests, or similar promotional events, we may collect information such as your shipping address, cooking preferences, taste preferences, and regional information. This information allows us to manage the event. If you win, your phone number or nickname may be published in masked form.
